    Contact Lenses

At Complete Family Vision Care, we are fortunate to be on the cutting edge when working with contact lenses. Not only do we work with some of the newest lens technologies available, but in cooperation with contact lens manufacturers we participate in clinical trials of new designs that aren't yet available to the general practice. If you would like to be put on our “study list” to possibly participate in a current or future study, please contact us.

Below, you'll find several of the many different contact lens designs and treatments we have available. If you think one of the following may be for you, or if you're just not sure what options you have, schedule an appointment for a contact lens evaluation today.

Aspheric Contact Lenses
Considered a Premium Contact Lens design, aspheric contact lenses allow patients to improve their nighttime and fine detail vision when compared to conventional spherical lenses. They are used to correct irregular corneas as well as low amounts of astigmatism. Recent advances in technology allow these lenses to often be more comfortable, more affordable, and healthier for the eyes than even some established spherical lenses.

Bifocal Contact Lenses
Whether you're a long time contact lens wearer, or you've been told you're not a good candidate for contact lenses because you need bifocal glasses, there are several new and highly successful bifocal contact lens designs. If you thought you were going to need glasses the rest of your life, give these innovative designs a try.

Specialty Lenses (ie: for Keratoconus, scarred corneas and dry eyes)
Many ocular diseases cause the front surface of the eye to become misshapen, decreasing a person's vision. Glasses often are of no help, but we work with the patient to find a lens specifically designed for their eye. Frequently, contact lenses offer the best vision available, and with some sophisticated diagnostic work and patience, we can work with even the most difficult to fit eyes for a favorable outcome.

Dr. White is well known for his proficiency with the SoftPerm contact lens design for Keratoconus. This innovative lens design involves a gas permeable center, surrounded by a soft lens “skirt” to maintain stability and superior   vision. If you have been diagnosed with Keratoconus, ask if this lens may be right for you.  More>>
